Terms

Last updated 18 September 2026

Sourcedock is in a private pilot. It is free, it is unfinished, and these terms are written for that rather than for a product with paying customers. When that changes, so will they, and you will hear about it before it takes effect.

Who you are dealing with

Sourcedock is operated from the Netherlands by Milan van Bruggen. Reach us at hello@sourcedock.eu.

What the service does

You connect accounts you already control, save a query against them, and tell Sourcedock where to put the answer and how often. It then runs that query and writes the result into the spreadsheet you nominated.

It writes a block of cells where you point it, and clears what the previous block no longer covers. Choose that spot carefully: a tab you already use for something else will lose whatever sits in the way.

Your account

You need an account, and you are responsible for what happens under it. Do not share sign-in details. Anyone you invite into a team can see that team’s connections, saved queries and run history, so invite accordingly.

Connect only accounts you are entitled to connect. If you are an agency acting for a client, that means having their permission.

Your data stays yours

We claim nothing over the figures you pull or the reports you build. You can disconnect any source at any moment, from inside Sourcedock or from the source’s own account settings, and we will stop having access. The privacy page sets out what is held and what is not.

Data protection

For the marketing data you pull through Sourcedock you are the controller and we are the processor, acting on your instruction. If you are an agency and the data belongs to your client, you are likely their processor and we are your sub-processor. The privacy page sets out who else is in that chain and what covers the transfer.

You are entitled to a processor agreement under Article 28 of the GDPR, and there is not one published yet. It is being written. Ask and we will tell you where it stands — we would rather say that than point you at a document that does not exist.

What you may not do

Do not try to reach another team’s data, do not hammer the sources through us in a way you would not be allowed to hammer them directly, and do not use Sourcedock to break the terms of the services you connect. Those services have their own rules and connecting them here does not suspend any of them.

No promises about uptime

There is no service level during the pilot. Scheduled refreshes run on a best-effort basis and depend on services we do not control. If a refresh fails, whoever set it up gets an email — that is the commitment, not that it will never fail.

Treat Sourcedock as something that saves you the work, not as the only copy of anything. The spreadsheet it writes into is yours and survives us.

Liability

The service is provided as it is, with no warranty. Because it is free, our liability is limited to what the law does not let us exclude. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data or consequential loss, and in particular not for a number that reached a client report wrongly — check what goes out under your name.

Nothing here limits liability for intent, gross negligence, or death or personal injury.

Ending it

You can stop whenever you like: disconnect your sources, or write to us and we will delete the account. We can end the pilot, or your place in it, with reasonable notice — and if we do, you will have time to disconnect sources and take what you need first.

Changes

We will update this page and move the date at the top. For a change that matters, we will write to you as well. Carrying on using Sourcedock after a change means you accept it; if you would rather not, disconnect and tell us.

Which law

Dutch law applies, and disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands. If you are a consumer rather than a business, this does not take away rights your own country gives you.
